As we end our sermon series, we open the congregation up to a live Zoom discussion on Tuesday at 6:30 pm. The topic will be the sermon subject matter and Scripture from the previous Sunday. See the calendar of events . The topic is excellent for individuals, families, and religious educators. These online Zoom meetings will be uploaded and archived.
No Fireside Chat Sunday
Pastor Dave and Therese are celebrating their 42nd wedding anniversary with a weekend away. That means no Fireside Chat on Sunday, November 15. Congratulations!
Do you have an empty chair at your house this holiday? Our own Renee Natzke is launching a grief support group. Recall, she and her family lost their five year old son, Jack, a few years back. God has taken their loss and turned it into support for others. Connect with Renee here - https://mailchi.mp/3a452b205aca/how-to-heal-when-the-holidays-arent-so-happy. Blessings to you, Renee and family!
Food Donations for Manna for Life
We continue to help by having a collection container outside of the main entrance (under the overhang) for you to place donations if you are not yet coming to church. The barrel by the 2nd floor elevator is also available. Non-perishable items such as peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned fruit in lite syrup, tuna, chicken, cereal, etc. are all greatly appreciated by those in need. We also ask that you now think 'Thanksgiving Dinner' and 'Christmas Dinner' as you donate. Our next food delivery will be taken on Monday, November 16.
Chick with Stix Christmas Prep
It's getting colder outside and winter is just around the corner. Keep making, or start now, hats, mittens, scarves and other winter accessories. Place items in the purple bin near the 2nd floor elevator by Sunday, December 6. Items are distributed locally through agencies that assist families in our immediate area.
