Provide your email and phone number so that she can get back to you.

    Important Giving Updates

    Offering Envelopes - Should I or Shouldn't I?
Offering envelopes have been  a 'normal' part of your church experience for many years. These paper envelopes are no longer required for OSLC to record your giving. So, the annual question is here: Do you want to receive paper offering envelopes to use in 2022? If you give only online, an envelope number is not needed. If you give by check (and your name and address are on the check), your offerings will be recorded to that name and address without an envelope number. If you give cash and desire a receipt at the end of the year, you will want to keep (or begin using) envelopes so that we can record that for you. Please notify the church office as soon as possible if you want to keep using envelopes or if we should remove your name from the envelope list. We hope to have the 2022 offering envelopes out for you shortly after Thanksgiving.

    Thinking About Online Giving?
We have a matching gift offer from FellowshipOne Giving. For new, recurring gifts: Your first recurring gift (scheduled to begin between November 1 and December 31) will be matched up to $50 per person (up to a total of $1,000 to OSLC). If you have been thinking about starting online recurring gifts to OSLC, this would be a great time! Questions can be directed to Michelle in the church office. Don't wait until the end of December...Michelle will be out of the office after Christmas!

    Help! I'm Trapped in a Musical - November 11, 12, 13
The NEWLHS Drama and Music Departments have combined for an exciting venture. "Help!  I'm Trapped in a Musical" is a fun, light-hearted look at what it would be like to attend a high school where the rule is that you have to sing and dance all day long! When Norma, the new student, steps foot in the high school, the students are singing about how great MONDAY is!  There are other weird things happening too...a teacher talks to the pencil sharpener, strange 'students' attend classes with microphones, and detention is given if you don't follow the 'rules'.  Purchase tickets here or at the door (if not sold out).

    Veterans Day Remembrance
Invite a veteran or active duty service member to Chapel at NEWLHS (1311 S Robinson Avenue) on Thursday, November 11. This will be a wonderful celebration as we thank them all for their numerous sacrifices. A Quilt of Valor, made by the Fall 2020 Sewing to Serve students, will be presented to a special nominee. Everyone is welcome to join us to celebrate our veterans and active service members at this special Chapel.

    Watch for Playing Children
With more than 130 students (in grades 3K to 8) in the building on any given day, we ask that you drive into and thru the parking lot with care on school days. All outside doors will remain locked at all times; use the call button at the South door to request entry. If using your own key, you are asked to check in with the church office upon arrival. Student drop off (7:45-8am) and pick up (2:45-3:30pm) on school days may cause lines of cars to block parking spots, etc. Please avoid arriving or leaving during these times when possible.

Staples and Fasteners (things that never change)
