    Amazon Shopping List

    Using the Amazon shopping list is a way to order recommended items and have them delivered to OSLC.  We will receive them and take them to Ft McCoy.  Orders need to be made by Wednesday in order to arrive in time.  Orders made after Wednesday and sent to OSLC will be delivered to Catholic Charities of Green Bay who will then get them to Ft McCoy or use them for giving to Afghan families during resettlement.   

    Here is a list of items being excepted:

    DONATIONS NEEDED-Only NEW donated items will be accepted.
    For your gently used donations, please contact your local Goodwill, Salvation Army, or thrift stores to put these items to best use. We are NOT accepting GENERAL CLOTHING, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, FURNITURE, APPLIANCES, ELECTRONICS, OR FOOD unless specified in our donation lists. We are first trying to fill their emergent needs. Storage space is limited.
    Necessary donation items below have been vetted and verified by liaisons at Fort McCoy.
    • Clothing (bulk items accepted): **Summer/Fall clothes only, no Winter clothes at this time**
    • Men's-unbranded, modest clothing like shirts, pants, socks, shoes, and undergarments in various sizes
    • Women's-unbranded, modest long-sleeve crew neck shirts, long pants, socks, shoes, and undergarments to remain culturally appropriate in various sizes
    • Children's-mirror gender appropriate recommendations above in all age ranges and sizes
    • Child-Specific Items (some bulk items accepted)
    • Diapers of assorted sizes
    • Wipes
    • Baby Shampoo
    • Baby Lotion
    • Formula/Bottles
    • Blankets/Swaddles
    • Food/Water (individually packaged wherever possible) consider ensuring items are free of pork products. Stick with vegetables.
    • Shelf stable and ready-to-eat foods with minimal preparation requirements
    • Bottled Water
    • Water-soluble electrolytes, hydration, and vitamin powders/liquids
    • Hygiene (individually packaged)
    • Bars of soap (no liquid soap)
    • Shampoo
    • Deodorant
    • Towels
    • Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
    • Shower Shoes
    • Misc (all unbranded or minimally branded)
    • Reusable, durable water bottles
    • Feminine Hygiene Products (maxi pads urgently needed)
    • Backpacks
    • Hats
    • Sunscreen
    • Bug Spray
    Nearly all Afghan families are arriving here with only the clothes on their backs, so the needs are immense. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated!
